I love to sleep. I know that sounds weird but it is true. DO you know all the good things that happen when you sleep well? Here are a few. Feel free to comment any others that you think of!
Who else is excited about the Fall weather? I had a great time this morning walking the dogs. I love walking in the crisp air and seeing all the various leaves and foliage changing colors. I can not believe how the time is flying by. The dogs had a great time walking. I may change my routine up and walk them out more. I hate being all sweaty but with the cooler weather it will be a great time to start. Anyone else adding in walks outside with the great weather we are having?
I have found that I enjoy Zumba. I like that I can dance and have fun while exercising. I have found that if I do something that I enjoy doing for exercise I stick with it. I hate running, so if I am trying to run every day I will find excuses to get out of it. What exercise do you like doing?
Shop for foods that will help make you healthier. If you know junk food does not help you, don't eat it. If something makes you sick, don't buy it. I went through my fridge and freezer and cleaned house this morning. I decided that unless it is going to make me healthy, then it is going in the trash. I feel a little bad that I bought it but there is nothing that I can do about that now. If it is a canned or dry food that I know that I will not eat it goes to my donation pile. I have some health problems and know that I do not need certain items but I want them any way. I want to eat better and I will start by cleaning my kitchen and end with taking food to school. I am tired of feeling tired.
Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.
God is our king. I sometimes think that we forget this. We are to be his bride. We must remember that all things are created for and by him. He gave us this body to take care of. We need to honor him by taking care of ourselves. I for one have been doing a not so great job this week. I have not been getting enough sleep and I know that I have been cranky. I am working on that and I think that I will do better with the 2nd part of the week. How are you honoring God with your body?

Why do you want to be healthy?
We need to focus on what is in front of us and not what is in the past or the future. We can get so worried about what did happen that we do not think about how to deal with life right now.It can be the same when thinking about the future. We focus on the big picture and not on the little steps that it will take to get where we need to go.
It is better to work together rather than doing something alone

We should be healthy not skinny
Real food not processed food
Types of food to eat-
Lots of fruit and veggies
Meat = palm of hand
Drink- 8 cups a day of water, herbal tea, green tea
Have snack bag for just in case needs
Avoid-sugar, soda, processed foods
