1 Corinthians 10:31
“1 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
Some thoughts to think about:
We should be healthy not skinny
Real food not processed food
Types of food to eat-
Lots of fruit and veggies
Meat = palm of hand
Drink- 8 cups a day of water, herbal tea, green tea
Have snack bag for just in case needs
Avoid-sugar, soda, processed foods
What else helps you feel better most days?
“Blessed is the man[a]
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law[b] of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
If you focus on God’s word there are some great promises for you
If it is worth worrying about then it is worth praying about
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
You must trust him to give you the power to change
“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
Have faith that you can change your behavior, attitude and life. Sometimes I get down when I see how I look or act around others. I want to change but do not put as much effort as I should. I get tired and lazy. I have to push through that and be the best that I can be even in times of trouble. What do you struggle with?
Can you follow God where he leads you if you are not strong enough to do it?
I want to be stronger both in faith and in strength. I will continue to work to be the best that I can. I have had a long week so far. My kiddos just started school and I am already tired. I have so much to do and no time to do so. I will do the best that I can and that is all that I can do. What do you do when you are tired?
