It is ok not to do something every moment of the day. To relax and let go of the different stresses of the day is a good thing. You should never feel so overwhelmed that you can not have fun. It could be reading a book, relaxing outside or even just chilling on the couch watching tv. Take time to relax and not worry about things that you can not change.
I am learning more about my food and what it does to my body. Had anyone ever read Wheat Belly? I am learning alot and I am considering putting it into practice. I know that I will not be able to cut out everything- I love to travel to much to have such a strict diet but I have been adding more fruits and veggies into my diet. I have suprised at how much more energy that I have. I am still learning and please feel free to add any books below that you think would be an interesting read for me.
I have been trying a few of them but let me know if you know of any that work!
Gargle salt water
Drink hot liquids
Take steamy showers
Sometimes, in order to be healthy we need to take a break. We can not keep going like an energizer bunny and expect to stay healthy. We need breaks. That is one reason that God said to keep Sunday holy. He knows we need to take a break and focus on him. I will be working on doing better on this goal. What do you do to relax? I like to listen to music and play with my pups.
Remember that even though it is getting cold outside that you need to spend time outdoors. Vitamin D is important and below is some great things that it does for you. I did not even realize how much it helps me day to day!

Whew! I ate quite a bit. How about you? I think that I will be doing a small detox from all the food that I ate. Unless it came from an animal or plant, I will be holding off on eating it. I will start tomorrow since I am heading home and need to get groceries. I just feel yucky and need to stop the processed food for a few days. How about you?
Sometimes I eat food because it is there. Other times I eat because I am stressed or sad. Any other reason besides being hungry is a bad thing. I am working on this and saying to myself before I eat, am I doing this for me or because of stressers. It is getting better but I have a ways to go. What do you struggle with?
This month is Diabetes awareness month. My mom is a diabetic and I know that it is genetic. I try to eat right and do what I need to do to prevent it from happening to me. Below are a few things that I do to prevent it. If you know any others feel free to share them.
